Prayer Request

We have a request for a specific prayer request.

The doctors have told us the biggest risk at the time is infection. They have also told us that if she gets through this without infection she will be the exception rather than the rule. It will literally be a miracle if she makes it through this without one. So, let's pray for a miracle. Please, among your other words of prayer, please pray specifically to prevent infection.

Also - if you feel so inclined, please leave a comment for Mom here on the blog. Thank you to those who already have - this will mean a lot to her later when she is awake. She's going to need to know how much people love her - That's what will give her the will to fight. So, any words you can send to her will mean more than you may know.

First of all, God is still on the throne. He is still in the healing business. There is nothing to difficult for Him. Find those healing and faith scriptures and read them to her and out loud in her room. Speak the Word! Quote those scriptures over her. We will be standing in argeement with you for a miracle.

I just received news from Miracle that Mrs Schimmer had a car accident.
Therefore immediately we pray to God for her recovery as well as for Paul and Josua's.
We can't be there physically with all of you but know that we've been praying.

Tonight in our church congregation, we lift up Patty and everybody that involves in the accident.

Please tell to Mr Kenny to not be afraid because God is within Him. We Love Patty very much and we wish her to have her health back to normal.

Patty Schimmer,

Please don't be afraid, because God loves you and We Love you too.

You are the best friend we ever had, you are our sister in Lord Jesus, you're one of the best teacher my daughters ever had, even all of the Indonesian Students.

We Believe that you will have you Health back soon and the happiness will be within you, you don't live alone because we stand behind you and we always Love you on the Lord Jesus Christ.

May God bless you.
Regards.

Semmy & Ratna Yapsawaki.

You'll never be able to keep a list of the people that are checking on Patty and praying for her. It would be far too long to contain in one blog! We didn't have your cell phone number, so we have been calling CBA, getting updates from pastors, replying to text messages received from students, etc. Since some of our sources were a little "unofficial" we are so glad that you have started this blog! Please let Patty know that we are praying without ceasing! She is such a special woman that has impacted all of our lives so much. We will continue to pray for all of you!

I wanted you to know that Patty is in our prayers and specifically today for the surgery. God is an awesome God and nothing is too hard for Him!! I survived a similar head-on accident in 1996, with similar, but not quite as extensive injuries, so I can relate in a huge way. This touches me in a special way.

Breanna and I will be by later this afternoon to check on your mom and to see Aaron and Paul. Thanks for your updates.

Well Mrs. Schimmer,
As of right now Jacob, Anthony, Emily, Jared, and I (Ellie) are in your geometry class praying for you to recover quickly. We love you so much, miss you all, and know that God kept you, Aaron, Josh, and Paul in the palm of his hand. We love you and you are all in our prayers constantly. We hope that you will be able to return quickly and amaze and remind the doctors of the power of God and the prayers that are being sent up all around the world. We love you Mrs. Schimmer!!
Love,
The Sophmore Class

I forgot to mention in my previous post that I have passed on this blog to the secretary at Pine Acres Church so we as a congregation can keep up with Patty's progress and pray more specifically for her.

Kenny, Patty, and family;
Just wanted you to know that we are praying for all of you.
You obviously have been a blessing to many people. The number of visitors is amazing. You are continuing to show strength to your students and others in dealing with this extremely difficult situation. Thanks for setting up the website so that we can stay updated.

Kenny, Patty, Scott and Alana,
Thank you for the blog. I have been hesitant to call and bother you guys but have asked at school often about everyone's condition. I have been praying often for everyone's healing, for wisdom and skill of the Dr.s and other health care workers and most of all that God would strengthen their bodies so infection would not set in. Tuesday was the day our Moms In Touch prayer group met at CBA. We spent the hour praying for Patty and the boys. Each week we have an attribute of God that we praise him for and this week it was that He is Sovereign. We know that he controls everything and can do anything and we can come boldly to him and present our requests to him, so we come to him often to ask for his healing hand to be at work in Patty, Aaron and Paul. I just wanted to share a verse with you that I will be praying for Patty and you as well.
Psalm 18:28-29
You, O Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall.
We love you guys.

The "Payne Herd" want to send you lots of hugs and kisses! We want you to know that you are such a blessing to us and we have thanked the Lord many times for you and your friendship. Patty, please know that you are not alone in this journey and that you have family and friends just like us that are praying for you and ready to help! I remember when I was worried and scared about what the future might bring with the babies the Lord revealed to me many scriptures and I thought I would pass some them on to you.
"Have I nont commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; be not frightened, neither be dismayed; for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9
No matter what you face Patty, the Lord is right there with you. WE LOVE YOU VERY MUCH! Rick, Jennifer, Parker, Preston, Griffin, Carson, & Claire Payne

Mrs. Schimmer... I woke up the morning of your accident, getting ready for work like any other day, and felt impressed to pray for the staff of CBA...

Not that I haven't prayed for you guys before, but this one caught me off guard...

I must say, I feel that it was a God thing. I hear about the accident on a news feed off my iPhone later that afternoon and then it all clicked with me.

You've been in our thoughts and prayers and we are believing for not only a full recovery but that miracles will happen!

Thank you for all you do Mrs. Schimmer!

You are definitely in our prayers today as you face another long surgery. Psalm 34:7 "The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them." I am so thankful that I know my God is "camping out" up there with you and Kenny. (And my nephew Aaron and Paul and their family members as well.) What a comfort!

Lane and Pate have both expressed missing you at school! Lane was using something he learned from you in his Math & Finance class the other day. Lane doesn't want to go on Sr. trip without you, and I'm sure the others feel the same, so you are going to have to be ready for Sr. Trip!

Love and missing you,
Kim & LeAnn
Reid, Lane, and Pate

Dear Patty and family,
I am a co-worker of Megan Barr's and have been praying for you daily since your accident. May God see you through this speedily and give the family the strength to get through as well. I can tell by Megan's concern you are truely loved. I am a believer in miracles as I have witnessed one with another co-workers sister. Keep the faith! Love in Christ!

We too lift our prayers up to God who is on His Throne. We echo the prayers of CBA's Sophomore Class that you will remind your doctors and healthcare team about the Power of God and how He is intimately and personally involved in every aspect of your life. We love you and are looking forward to assuming the church pew behind you at FBC!
Love,
