Day 5 - October 4, 2008 - Part 3

Wow! What a day. This morning, Mom's nurse told us that she just felt like today was going to be a good day, and it was. She's has begun coming out of the influence of the sedative, but she's still very sleepy. As I mentioned in an earlier post, they gave her some medicine to begin flushing some of the fluid out of her body, and she responded very well to that. So, for those of you who saw her this morning, the swelling in her face has subsided significantly. Her blood pressure responded well to the fluid reduction, so we're taking more baby steps forward.

Thank you so much to those of you who came to visit. It really means a lot to us, and it will mean so much to Mom. A few of you indicated you were having a little trouble posting comments. If you have trouble, send me an email (adtetrick@gmail.com), and I will post your comments to ensure they are included. For those of you who are keeping track of where we have people praying, you can add Garden City, MO and Kansas City, KS to that list.

Today was a really long list of visitors, so please forgive me if I forget someone!!!

I'm so glad to see how many people have been able to visit, call and comment.

Mrs. Schimmer has been such a strong force in so many lives. It's nice to see her getting a little of the attention now. =)

Hey Mrs.Schimmer, I can't stop thinking about you, so I thought I would like to share this scripture

Isaiah 41:10
Don't be afraid, I am with you.
Don't tremble with fear. I am your God. I will make you STRONG, as I PROTECT you with MY ARM and gives you VICTORIES.

That verse helps me all the time. I hope you can read it when you're awake and feels better. And I hope it will makes you feel stronger. You will always be in our prayers.

We LOVE you so MUCH!!
