There Shall Be Dancing in the Streets!!

PRAISE THE LORD!!! PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED!

NOW we have the official word from the doctor. They were able to repair everything they had wanted to repair today! The report from the surgical nurse was accurate - they were able to use existing muscle in the right leg and a graft from the abdomen is not necessary!!! PRAISE THE LORD! They were also able to do the skin graft on the left leg (apparently that was a pretty easy fix)!

They'll keep it wrapped for 5-7 days (so she'll be in the hospital at least until that point), then they'll unwrap and see how it is doing. From there on, they'll change the dressing on the wounds daily. The infection is continuing to improve in the wound, and did not prevent them from being able to make any repairs today. There is still no infection in the left leg!

So, Thank you VERY much for the prayers! They are clearly helping!!! This is without a doubt an answer to prayers! We still need many more, but this is a big step forward!!!!!

As far as we know, the plan is still for spinal surgery tomorrow. After we've talked to a doc and get plans for that, I'll let you know!!!

PRAISE THE LORD!

Halleluia!Ps 89:1 "I will sing of the LORDS's great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations. 2 I will declare that your love stands firm forever that you established your faithfulness in heaven itself...5The heavens praise your wonders, O LORD, your faithfulness too, in the assembly of the holy ones."

Hello Schimmer family, This is Melissa Lewis Feil, and i was just reading all the updates.

I dont know when the best time to say this is, so i guess this is as good a time as any.

The thing that hits me so strongly on Mrs. Schimmer being hurt is that it would seem impossible. I know that God does everything and allows everything for a reason, so I can't really complain. God made this one a tough one, she was at school every morning just raring to go, teach (loudly) and always tell story on her kids! Mrs. Schimmer spent the extra effort on me, which makes a 16 or 17 year old girl feel kind of special, Mrs. Schimmer always knew when i was mad, upset, or just having a girl day, she would bring me into her room at lunch and say.. "Okay, Melissa, start talking." There were days i would refuse, and others were i would just scream and cry about the drama of a highschool girls life. She taught me algebra... not only at school but at her home as well. She would sit me at the table say solve this on, and she would go make her famous tuna salad for me. She wouldn't go far, because if i needed help she was within ear range!

The day of my moms funeral she along with several other CBA faculty came. The look of compassion in her eyes along with the compassion in the others was enough to know that when they got to the point in line to hug us, that time would kind of stop and just let us cry. NO MATTER WHAT! Mrs. Schimmer will always have a very very big peice of my heart, because she gave out so much of her own.

I dont mean to talk like this is in rememberance of her, because I know she is getting better and better PRAISE GOD! but to think back and remember the days that she spent that extra time on me brings a smile to my face and a tear of joy to my eye.

Mrs. Schimmer your in my prayers and in my heart forever. I love you, and your family. Forever and for always.

The following is from my friend Mary in Canada...

Continuing to pray and stand. It was obviously wonderful for Patty to get outside for awhile and breath some fresh air. Praise God! She’s Healed! Her whole body fully repaired and restored, both legs healed and functioning excellently in Jesus Name. Wisdom for the Dr’s and Supernatural direction for the surgeons.

Guide their hands Father to do your work. Amen!

Jeremiah 30:17 “For I will Restore Health to you and Heal You of your Wounds, says the Lord”.

God Bless you all,
