Day 28 - October 27, 2008 - PM Update

We've moved!!!! We're now in rehab at Baptist Hospital room 373!!! So, if you go looking for her at OU, you won't find her!!

We got moved about 1pm today, so we're moving forward! No real news yet, other than we're working on getting her ready to go home! We've been told that it will probably be a couple of weeks, but that will be evaluated as we proceed through this process.

Just a couple of notes - they do not allow visitors much during the day (between 9 and 4, it seems) since they have the patients in and out of a lot of rehab. So, if you're planning a day-time visit, you should aim for the lunch hour. If you're aiming for an evening visit, it should be after 4pm.

I'll update more when I know exactly what's going on, but for now, that's the story!

Wow! This is great news! Patty, this may be some of the hardest work you've ever done, but we know you can do it! We'll just pray for strength and stamina for every hour. PS We so enjoyed our visit with you last week-you are such a blessing to everyone around you! We had a great trip and got Austin moved back to civilization, now he just needs a job . . .

All of you are still in my prayers.

We are so happy for you in this big step of progress towards the complete recovery that we are praying for! We check the blog daily for updates and sometimes several times a day when we know that there is a surgery or test scheduled. Our thoughts and prayers are with you daily as well. We know that God can use you no matter where you are. I know that you are blessing those whose care you are in and we are praying that, through you, they will see HIM!

Wonderful! Patty, now you have more physical work to do! You'll get back that strength in your arms. I can just hear you saying "This soreness feels good" :) Don't push yourself too hard. Your body is still doing major healing in your legs. I can see you doing everything they ask twice over. God made you special. Praying for you still.
